On behalf of the Bristol Channel Yachting Association I would like to thank you all sincerely for organising a splendid weekend
at Watchet over the 10th, 11th and 12th August, 2012. We had 54 vessels attending – I believe I would be correct in saying that this is the most vessels we have ever had attending any of our rallies. The number of people from these boats amount to 111. Many people have contacted me to advise me that they had a very enjoyable weekend. From the Jazz Band to the Hog Roast on the Esplanade and the Shanty singing in the Museum. Many also took the steam train to Minehead and back which was an ideal way to spend a relaxing afternoon. The weather was also delightful, warm and sunny, all boats having a very enjoyable sail back to their home port. Many thanks to all the people involved in organising the event – it was very successful. Many of us are already talking about coming back next year.

Kind regards
